c'est vrai que la stubby ne plaît pas trop par son esthétisme mais quelle efficacité dans les conditions moyennes.
J'espère que la mamba ne sera pas en reste sur ce point...pour le moment je reste en stubby 99 qui m'a encore surpris cet été...quand tout le monde trouve la session très moyenne alors qu'en stubby je le suis régalé!

DESCRIPTION
The brand-new Mamba takes the place of the Stubby in our line-up and shines with similar attributes in sloppy waves, but comes with improved performance for when the conditions turn on. The Mamba is the evolution of our Stubby line. Our Team has constantly evolved the original shape towards a parallel outline with more pulled in nose and tail sections. SUPER HERO is THE ultimate wave sail which is made to perform optimally in all wave conditions around the globe. The unrivaled balanced sail is the personal favorite of PWA Wave double world champion Victor Fernandez and is a real World Cup asset that is designed specifically for wave usage. Thanks to the absolutely neutral and perfectly balanced draft position, its handling characteristics are unrivaled and it remains stable and highly controlled in every situation. The SUPER HERO feels like a three-batten design combined with the stability of a five-batten one. The specially developed profile fills out very efficiently and produces high propulsion even when underpowered, which is why it’s suitable for almost all riders, regardless of weight. The SUPER HERO’s consistent evolution makes it an even better World Cup sail with an extremely wide range of use in the wave. It continues to deliver great high-end performance even in gusty and/or nuking conditions such as the Canary Islands or South Africa, remaining under perfect control with high winds and during extremely overpowered jumps. je roule en Freewave STB 95 depuis un peu plus d'un an, je ne connais toujours pas les limites de cette planche. De loin la meilleure que j'ai jamais eu.
Très bien ce changement de shape, la Stubby 76/77 va baisser en occase!

Ah non mais aucune critique sur les performances de la planche!
J'ai eu la severne nano 1 et cette année la version 2 qui ressemble plus à la stubby 2 et j'en suis content aussi.
Mais on gagne nettement en polyvalence quand le vent monte un peu

Le paradoxe c'est que c'est une ancienne déco qui va rendre la 2020 obsolète ... avec un shape qui ne change semble t'il pas = full marketing une année ou c'était l'opportunité de garder le modèle 2 ans au pire ils pouvaient lancer une série spéciale 40th en édition limitée
